Hey, Ted,
Yes, I've been absent. Despite the lovely spring weather, I've been feeling kind of down, and don't have the gnac* to knit much of anything, not the least something like Princess. I finished the edging weeks ago now, it seems, and just haven't felt like picking up the stitches and continuing. Princess may end up in the dark hole of the UFO, I fear, at least at this rate.
But you -- Rosebud finished, and promises to pick up Princess soon.
You can create a masterpiece. You are mighty.
later,
k
*"avoir le hnac" is a Gascon expression that has been "Parisianized" (and feminized at the same time) into "avoir la gnac". It literally means to have "bite", to be bitten by something, and I've definitely lost the "bite" for knitting right now.

I love that link. IT was a masterpiece as well.
I hope you get to feeling better. Perhaps a sunny road trip would pick you up? Has the Flander's author's place opened yet? Or bloomed? I vaguely recall your going there one time.

The final silhouette at the end is Mighty Mouse. Heh. Good post, but Mighty Mouse at the end of something like that is just funny.

Janice, I got a kick out of that, too.

[whinge]It didn't tell me that I would lose 50 pounds.
I want my money back.[/whinge]

Don't let it go into the black hole of UFO's! You are mighty yourself. Get some grid paper and play with some patterns. What would lilacs look like in lace? What would a dogwood blossom look like in lace? Or a rose? I'm a mere novice to you two's mastery.
